About Alexandra Abel:
Alexandra Abel studied philosophy, German, and psychology at the University of Heidelberg. As an architectural psychologist, she specialises in the perception and mediation of built environments and the relationship between architecture and health. She teaches at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and publishes papers in the field of architectural psychology.

Ästhetik der heilsamen Orte« (»Aesthetics of healing places«) is an interdisciplinary research project directed by Gabriel Dörner and offered as part of the Bauhaus.Semester. During the course, creative positions on the architecture of recovery will be discussed and presented at the end of the semester in the »Winterwerkschau« (»Winter Work Show«). Numerous other guests will be involved in the event and hold public lectures.
