The Bauhaus school had already left Thuringia by 1925. However, traces of it still remain all over Thuringia, stemming either from the school itself or indirectly from Bauhaus: the diverse residences and workplaces of Bauhaus teachers and students, the workshops and production locations that are common in rural regions and often overlooked.
Authors Elke Dallmann, Mark Escherich, Susanne Knorr and Ulrich Wieler and graphic designer Nicola Hammel-Siebert wanted to change this, so have expanded and reissued the »Bauhaus Coordinates« booklet previously published in 2009. You are invited to a book launch on 14 March 2019 in the former Bauhaus canteen, which is now Bauhaus-Universität Weimar’s Bauhaus.Atelier. The book is being published by Weimar architectural publishing house M BOOKS.
