Semester shows at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar offer varied exhibition programme

This year, the »Winterwerkschau« (Faculty of Art and Design) and »go4spring« (Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism) semester shows at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will take place at the same time. On 6–9 February 2020, students will showcase the work they created during the current winter semester.

 

For a whole weekend, visitors can explore the various exhibitions in studios, workrooms and public spaces throughout Weimar. The opening event at 5 pm on Thursday, 6 February will offer a full evening programme that includes a façade projection, film and live music in the Main Building and on the university campus.

During its fifth »go4spring«, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism will show 29 projects in which its various professorships are involved. Students use the show at the end of the winter semester to present their work outcomes and findings from design, research and teaching projects to the public.

During the »Winterwerkschau«, students of the Faculty of Art and Design will show more than 40 solo or group projects at various locations around Weimar. Also in its fourth year, the winter exhibition for the design courses will focus on the work processes behind the finished concepts, works of art and products.

All interested parties are warmly invited to come view the students’ work from the winter semester at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Admission to all events is free.
