On the occasion of the anniversary year, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will be supporting projects that deal with the ideas, history, and development of Bauhaus. The projects submitted by students, research assistants, professors, and alumni will all play a major role in the University’s anniversary programme, an overview of which can be found on this site.
Projects
Kollektiv Kubik
The Kollektiv Kubik is a network of people exploring and expanding scope for action. Within an interdisciplinary and collective project and activity series, design methods and the experiences of other specialists are used to take a conscious look at our own environment and actively tackle further social development.
Cultural promotion of student projects by StuKo
A special promotion fund is financing student projects based on Bauhaus100.
Studio Wägetechnik
The Studio Wägetechnik is an interdisciplinary workspace founded in 2015 by 15 architecture students. During the semester, the spaces were adapted to their requirements for workstations and a workshop, and product designers and artists joined forces to work here or prepare an exhibition.
Think Tank
Within a think tank, renowned experts from the fields of art, design, architecture, technology and mediation will examine questions, ideas and utopias of the Bauhaus, discuss the contemporary relevance of thematic focuses identified from a subject-specific perspective, identify desiderata, and formulate core theses and research questions.
